The Client

PayChoice is a software company that helps businesses streamline their money collection with direct debits, payment gateways, subscriptions and other payment products. Unlike many large corporations who have lots of fees and terrible customer support, PayChoice provides more affordable services and great support.

 

The Challenge

They had previously engaged another agency to develop their website and run a digital campaign to promote their brand and generate leads. Sadly, this was a nightmare. They paid a small fortune for the website which didn’t look good, and the marketing campaign had little to no results.

Additionally, although they are well known amongst the 3000 customers they’ve helped, their brand was quite outdated and needed a refresh. The final cherry on top, they had tried hiring an in-house marketing manager which was costing over $70,000 per year with mediocre results.

Thankfully, they contacted us! There was a lot to do, but we broke it down into 3 objectives: Create a new brand, build a new website, and create a marketing campaign that actually works.

Create a new brand.

Websites, ads, social media… all of it is a waste of time if you haven’t nailed your messaging. We wanted to give PayChoice a fresh face but also a compelling message since payment software can be a little confusing. We create a brand strategy, a new logo, a style guide, email signatures and all the rest.

Build a new website

Once we’ve gotten clear on the brand and the problem PayChoice solves for customers, we designed a new website with a modern, trendy and ‘Silicon Valley’ software style. SEO was also a big focus for us, so the website was heavily optimised to rank in Google (which is improving each month).

Create a marketing campaign

This is where it all came together. We rolled out a lead generation campaign using Google and Facebook ads, as well as a brand awareness campaign on Facebook and Instagram. We also handled all their content creation. The leads started coming in almost immediately... and haven’t stopped since!

The Results

It’s so rewarding to see all your hard work paid off. Since PayChoice has long-term customers, each customer is worth around $10,000. We generate 3 customers from our campaigns each month, which creates an enormous return on investment for the client.

But on top of the ROI, we’re able to free up their time so they can focus on what matters, and provide an entire team of marketing experts for less cost the one internal employee.
