We all want more leads — but a lot of physios leave money on the table because of simple mistakes in their sales process.
Yes, getting more leads and lowering your cost per lead is great.
But if you can improve your lead conversion rate, you can make more money from the same marketing spend.

1️⃣ Taking too long to contact leads
Speed to lead is critical. When someone enquires, you need to get back to them FAST.
If it’s during work hours, aim to contact them within 5 minutes. The longer you wait, the lower your chances of converting them.
2️⃣ Not using a CRM
Even if it's a basic Google Sheet, you need to store leads in a central place.
It's impossible to remember to keep on top of everyone, especially when different staff are managing the leads.
Have a simple method to store leads, and a simple way to mark their status (e.g not contacted, contacted attempted, appointment booked etc) so you know who to follow up with.
3️⃣ Not following up
Just because a lead doesn’t answer or book right away doesn’t mean they’re a dud (it could've just been bad timing, or they forgot).
Follow up at LEAST 3 times.
If you're worried about being annoying just remember — they contacted you with a problem they need solving, and you can solve it for them.
4️⃣ Not using multiple contact methods
Don't just email them or call from a landline (which most people ignore). Also try calling from a mobile, and most importantly, if you're not already... send them a text!
Most people don't answer the phone, but they reply fast to a text.
